Hi, I’m Eric Clark. I’m a portrait, wedding, and lifestyle photographer based on the Hampshire/Sussex border. I proudly serve clients across England’s South Coast, including Chichester, Portsmouth, Petersfield, and nearby towns.

Four Decades Behind the Lens

I’ve been behind the lens since the early 1980s. My very first darkroom was a black-and-white setup tucked away in a cupboard under the stairs. What began as a teenage spark quickly grew into a deep, lifelong love of light, composition, and post-processing.

I am entirely self-taught, with skills spanning traditional analogue techniques to advanced digital workflows in Lightroom and Photoshop. People often ask what kind of photographer I am. I like to borrow a bit of classic military humour to explain my approach:

“If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn’t move, shoot it anyway.”

My ultimate goal is to give people beautiful, lasting memories through a completely relaxed and stress-free experience.
